Paul Howell

 

Paul is a highly driven Master Data Management, Product Information Management and Data Transformation expert, with over 25 years’ experience leading projects related to structured and unstructured data. His focus in the last 15 years has been working within the master data management domain working with global enterprise organizations in the following areas.

 

  • Data Governance.
  • Multi-Domain Master Data Management and Product Information Management.
  • Data Quality, Data Cleansing, Reclassification, Optimization of Data, and Data Migration.
  • Data Modelling.
  • Deduplication (Golden Records).

 

Working on internal strategies and data governance to support MDM programmes. Working from discovery phase to build, test and deploy on major programmes. Stibo STEP configuration and data migration activities when STEP has been the target system. On these project Paul has worked closely to all aspects of data quality, sometimes working with offshore resources as well as using standard ETL methods.


Running face-to-face meetings remotely and in workshops at customer sites across the UK, Europe and the US. One of his main focuses has been to identify and consolidate duplicate records with the objective of the creation of Golden Records.

Richard Howell

Richard is an accomplished, well organised professional with skills in manufacturing, customer focused environments including software delivery and training. Able to communicate with every level of a business including executive board members through to operational departmental managers, enabling a clear direction for developments that are beneficial to businesses in many sectors.


With over 40 years’ experience from early database management, extraction, and delivery via printed products, through to installing and managing the deployment of management information systems including project management, training, development, and operational support. Richard also created and managed a team of software developers to design and launch software intended to support the due diligence processes during large value acquisitions. 


Having worked in the demanding environment of security at Heathrow Airport, Richard has been asked to join the team at Paul J Howell Consulting Ltd to apply his many years of experience to the rollout and deployment of MDM solutions across multiple disciplines. This has included developing skills associated with Stibo STEP configuration and data migration activities with STEP as the target system.
